Christopher serves as a Tax Advisor at The Retirement Planning Group, bringing a strong background in public accounting and financial services. He began his career at a global accounting firm, where he worked in tax compliance for privately held businesses and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. There, he advised closely held families, entrepreneurs, and complex ownership structures on individual, trust, and entity tax matters. That experience gave him firsthand insight into how tax strategy, wealth planning, and long-term decision-making intersect in real life.

Christopher graduated from ‘Iolani School before completing his accounting education at the University of Hawai‘i. In addition to his technical background, he brings experience in formal education and mentorship. He previously served as a Lead Teacher at a learning center in Honolulu and as an instructor in Japan. Those roles shaped his ability to translate complex, high stakes tax concepts into clear, actionable guidance for families and individuals.

Today, Christopher supports clients through both tax advisory and tax compliance services. His work includes reviewing tax returns, addressing ongoing compliance needs, and helping individuals and families proactively plan for tax implications within their broader financial and retirement strategies. He is known for his thoughtful, disciplined approach and his focus on helping clients make informed decisions with clarity and confidence.
