Meet Jake Traen

Jake, a recent graduate from Iowa State University, brings a fresh perspective to The Retirement Planning Group as an Operations Associate. In this role, Jake plays a crucial part in supporting back-office operations, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently to meet the organization’s goals and client needs. 

Jake earned his B.S. in Business Economics from Iowa State University, where he was actively involved in multiple campus organizations. His experience working with Sporting Kansas City and the ISU Athletic Department highlighted his passion for sports and financial management. Throughout his academic and professional journey, Jake developed a wide range of skills and interests, consistently finding joy in finances and helping people. These passions ultimately guided his decision to join TRPG, where he looks forward to making a meaningful impact. 

Outside of work, Jake enjoys an active lifestyle, including exercising, running, and spending time outdoors. He loves sports and new experiences, never missing an opportunity to attend a concert, sporting event, or travel.
